The purpose of the federal law is to set forth additional guarantees for citizens of the Russian Federation and Russian legal entities in the context of external sanctions pressure.
To this end, the law defines the legal framework for Russian economic operators which have the status of international companies and have been negatively affected by the unfriendly actions by certain foreign countries and international organisations, while also introducing several other measures for countering sanctions.
