The Agreement is aimed at developing the international legal foundation for Russian-Argentinian cooperation in extradition-related matters.
In accordance with the Agreement, the parties take on a mutual obligation in observing the conditions indicated therein to extradite individuals located on the territory of one of the parties for criminal prosecution or to serve a sentence.
