Dmitry Medvedev met with Queen Margrethe II of Denmark in the Kremlin

The official welcoming ceremony for Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, Prince Consort Henrik and Crown Prince Frederik was held at the Kremlin's St George Hall.

The 2011–2012 programme for the implementation of the Declaration on Partnership for Modernisation was signed in the presence of Dmitry Medvedev and Queen Margrethe II of Denmark. On Russia’s side, the document was signed by co-chairman of the bilateral intergovernmental Council for Economic Cooperation and Transport Minister Igor Levitin (right), and on Denmark’s side by Permanent State Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Danish co-chairman of the Council for Economic Cooperation Claus Grube.
Several bilateral cooperation agreements were signed in the presence of Dmitry Medvedev, Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and Prince Consort Henrik. Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov (on the left of the President).

After the ceremony, Dmitry Medvedev and Queen Margrethe II held talks.

Following the talks, a number of bilateral cooperation agreements were signed in the presence of the two heads of state, including the 2011–2012 programme for the implementation of the Declaration on Partnership for Modernisation, a joint declaration on the establishment of a Russian-Danish Agribusiness Club and a number of other documents.
