Head of Presidential Civil Service and Personnel Directorate Sergei Dubik took part in a global anti-corruption forum

Sergei Dubik, head of the Presidential Civil Service and Personnel Directorate, made a speech at the opening of the fourth session of the Conference of States Parties to the UN Convention against Corruption.

In his speech Sergei Dubik outlined the main directions of Russia’s anti-corruption policy and Russia's priorities in this area at the international level, and stressed that Russia is prepared for a constructive dialogue with its partners in the formats agreed upon by the states parties to the Convention.

Russia’s proposal to host the sixth session of the Conference [of the States Parties to the UN Convention against Corruption] in 2015 received strong support.

Priority cooperation areas were identified in bilateral meetings between members of the Russian delegation and the leadership of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime and the International Anti-Corruption Academy, including joint implementation of global and regional anti-corruption projects and initiatives.

The UN Convention against Corruption was adopted by the UN General Assembly in 2003 and is the only global agreement aimed at comprehensive anti-corruption efforts. Russia was one of the first states to ratify the Convention.
