The President conferred the honorary Guards title on the 277th Mlawa Bomber Aviation Regiment. It will now be referred to as the 277th Guards Mlawa Bomber Aviation Regiment.
The honorary title was awarded for the heroism, courage, fortitude and bravery shown by the regiment’s personnel in combat operations to defend the Fatherland and state interests in armed conflicts.
