The Federal Law aims to bring certain legislative acts of the Russian Federation into conformity with Federal Law On Certain Aspects of Regulating the Platform Economy in the Russian Federation.
To this end, the Law clarifies the requirements applicable to owners of information aggregators for goods and/or services, as set forth in the Law of the Russian Federation On Consumer Rights Protection.
Specifically, the Law establishes provisions governing the procedure for the inclusion of information about a foreign entity operating as an intermediary digital platform in the list of foreign entities operating on the Internet in the Russian Federation, where the total daily access by users located within the Russian Federation does not exceed 500,000 individuals.
