Vladimir Putin examined the production processes at the facility, accompanied by Governor of the Magadan Region Sergei Nosov, General Director of Tikhrybkom (the plant’s founding company) Nikolai Kotov and Omega-Sea Director Anatoly Popov who provided the necessary updates and clarifications.
Omega-Sea, commissioned in 2023, is a unique fish oil processing and refining plant that produces encapsulated high-concentration Omega-3 products. This is Russia’s first facility manufacturing re-esterified triglyceride (rTG), utilising premium sardines and herring sourced from the Sea of Okhotsk.
