The Russian President said he was satisfied with the results of the talks with the Prime Minister. He also said that their discussion on a wide range of issues reflected the nature of relations between Russia and Britain, and their leaders.
During the talks, Mr Putin and Mr Blair discussed Russia’s relations with NATO and other issues.
Mr Putin, in particular, replied to questions about Russia’s relations with the United States and NATO, and the situation in Chechnya.
After the news conference, Mr Putin and Mr Blair returned to Chequers.
