At the Magnitogorsk Palace of Sports, President Vladimir Putin met with Yasuhiro Yamashita, the Olympic judo champion and four times world champion, and also with two young Japanese judoists, who were the President’s sparring partners in Okinawa in July and in Tokyo in September and were invited by him to the opening ceremony of the President’s Cup tournament.
After the competitions, Mr Putin handed the President’s Cup to the winner.
