The competition was intense and success depended not only on skill, but on psychological determination, team unity and strength of spirit. You showed these qualities in full measure.
I particularly want to thank your coaches and mentors, and everyone who helped you to achieve such a fine performance in Baku. Together, you showed that our national team has great potential and good reserves. I am sure that this is the guarantee of a successful performance from Russia at the XXXI Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.”
