After considering the proposals of the Presidential Council for Science and Education and the Presidential Council for Culture and Art, the President resolved to award the 2016 National Award of the Russian Federation for outstanding achievements in humanitarian work and the title of laureate of the National Award of the Russian Federation for outstanding achievements in humanitarian work to writer and public activist Daniil German (Granin).
