Traditionally Vladimir Putin dedicates several days before Direct Line to working with reference materials, video messages and written questions.

As of today, over one million messages to the President have been submitted. This year Direct Line with Vladimir Putin will be held for the 17th time.

The programme will be broadcast live by Channel One, Rossiya 1, Rossiya 24, NTV, Public Television of Russia (OTR) and Mir TV, and by radio stations Mayak, Vesti FM and Radio Rossii.

During the programme, the head of state will answer questions from the people on public, political and socioeconomic life in the country and on international affairs.

You can put questions to the head of state by calling, sending a text or an MMS message, and also via the programme’s website or a special mobile application.
