The president emphasized the importance of the company’s projects for the development of Russia’s economy as a whole.
Vladimir Yevtushenkov said that the company, which is concentrating on telecommunications, has become a key global player in the international market. Development of India’s full-scale telecommunications network is its biggest project abroad. Yevtushenkov said that in Russia the company covers more than 40% of the telecommunications market.
Dmitry Medvedev pointed out that Russia would not be able to build a stable economy without ambitious projects and big achievements in the world market. He believes that Sistema will use all the advantages of its foreign operations to create more jobs and invest in major high-tech projects in Russia.
