The leaders discussed the recently renewed dialogue between Russia and the United States aimed at finding a peaceful solution to the Ukraine conflict and normalising the bilateral ties. Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed support for the efforts made by Russia and the US, welcoming, in particular, the consultations taking place today in Riyadh between the two countries' expert groups.
Vladimir Putin and Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan hailed the level of strategic partnership achieved between Russia and the UAE and spoke in favour of implementing new mutually beneficial projects in trade, economic and humanitarian spheres. Close coordination will also be maintained within the OPEC+ format.
