”The construction of the KAMAZ plant is a bright and unforgettable page in the history of our Fatherland. The gigantic construction project brought together tens of thousands of people of different ethnic origin, professions and ages, who arrived at the banks of the Kama River from all over the country. The construction site became a place of a massive creative effort, where bold ideas and advanced technology solutions were developed, and new horizons opened up for young people. Largely thanks to the selfless labour and enthusiasm of the workers, engineers, surveyors and designers, the first heavy-duty truck rolled off the assembly line on February 16, 1976.
Today, KAMAZ is a real auto giant and a major industrial enterprise of the country. Its products prove their reliability in various climatic and road conditions and for this reason are in high demand in the construction sector and mining, in agriculture and urban transportation, as well as in other sectors. And, of course, the KAMAZ-Master team, a multiple winner of prestigious international competitions, is famous all over the world.
It is encouraging that, just like decades ago, KAMAZ continues to employ real professionals, who know their trade and love it. Thanks to their competence and the unfailing support provided to the company by the state, the leadership of the Republic of Tatarstan and the plant work team worthily respond to serious and unprecedented challenges and, relying on the veterans’ experience and traditions, efficiently solve critical tasks, introduce up-to-date design and engineering ideas, environmentally friendly, safe technologies and materials, consistently enhancing the quality and competitiveness of their products and prioritising the timely and proper implementation of the state defence order. The battle-tested KAMAZ vehicles serve our Fatherland and help our heroes achieve the goals of the special military operation.
