The message reads, in part:
“You are rightly proud of the rich history of this distinguished university, and of its enduring traditions established by generations of your predecessors – true professionals who were deeply dedicated to their chosen field.
It is gratifying that today, your university and its branches are justly regarded as leaders in training highly qualified specialists for maritime and inland water transport. These include shipbuilders, engineers, hydrographers, shipping company personnel and crew members of nuclear-powered icebreakers and ice-class LNG carriers.
I am confident that, by preserving its historic continuity while remaining open to innovation, your university will continue to thrive and remain a centre of attraction for talented and determined young people.”
