President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev and President of Finland Tarja Halonen discussed the future activities of the OSCE in the zone of the Georgian-South Ossetian conflict 2008-08-16 20:50:54 Finland is currently chair of the OSCE. President of Russia expressed his support for continuing the work of the OSCE mission, strengthening its role, and stressed the readiness of the Russian side to work closely together. Dmitry Medvedev singled out promoting the practical implementation of the six principles for a conflict settlement elaborated by the presidents of Russia and France and signed by all parties concerned as the main objectives of the OSCE mission. The conversation was held at the initiative of the Finnish side.
