Vladimir Putin held a meeting of the Commission for Strategic Development of the Fuel and Energy Sector and Environmental Security, and spoke with workers at several of the nation’s coal mining enterprises via video linkup. In addition, the President met with Kemerovo Region miners and the families of miners who died as a result of the Raspadskaya mine explosions in 2010. Mr Putin also had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of the United Kingdom David Cameron.
