On January 26, Vladimir Putin had a meeting with Supreme Ruler of Malaysia Sultan Ibrahim at the Hermitage. Following the talks, the President held working meetings with Governor of St Petersburg Alexander Beglov and Governor of the Leningrad Region Alexander Drozdenko.

On January 27, Vladimir Putin took part in commemorative events marking the 82^nd anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi siege.

Working visit to Turkmenistan. Meeting of the International Forum Peace and Trust: Unity of Goals for a Sustainable Future

In Ashgabat Vladimir Putin attended the forum marking the International Year of Peace and Trust, the International Day of Neutrality, and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent neutrality. Following the plenary session Vladimir Putin met with President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

The President of Russia also held separate bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the forum with President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and President of Iraq Latif Rashid.

The President of Russia also took part in the ceremony of laying wreaths at the Monument of Neutrality.

State visit to India

Vladimir Putin arrived in India on a state visit in the evening of December 4. Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi welcomed the President of Russia at the ramp. The leaders had an informal conversation at the Prime Minister’s residence.

Next day, on December 5, Russian-Indian talks and an exchange of signed documents took place at the Hyderabad House. Following the talks, Vladimir Putin and Narendra Modi made statements for the media. Later the leaders attended a plenary session of the Russia-India Business Forum. In addition, the President of Russia launched the broadcasting of the RT India TV channel.

Vladimir Putin also had a meeting with President of India Droupadi Murmu. The visit concluded with a state reception on behalf of the President of the Republic of India in honour of the President of the Russian Federation.

State visit to Kyrgyzstan. CSTO Summit

On November 25–27, the President of Russia visited the Kyrgyz Republic.

Russian-Kyrgyz talks were held in the Yntymak Ordo government residence on November 26. After the talks, Vladimir Putin and President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov made statements for the media.

On November 27, Vladimir Putin attended a session of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organisation. Following the summit, the participants signed a package of documents.

In addition, Bishkek hosted bilateral meetings between the President of Russia and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.

Completing his visit to Kyrgyzstan, Vladimir Putin answered questions from Russian journalists.

Trip to Samara

During a working trip to Samara, Vladimir Putin addressed the plenary session of the 13^th Russia – Country of Sports International Sports Forum and chaired a meeting of the Council for the Development of Physical Culture and Sports.

The President also visited the Orbita sports and recreation complex, where he talked with young figure skaters and basketball players. The head of state also took part in a videoconference presentation of new sports facilities that opened in Russian regions in 2025.

State visit to Tajikistan. Russia – Central Asia Summit. CIS Summit

From October 8 to 10, the head of the Russian state undertook a visit to the Republic of Tajikistan.

During the state visit, Russian-Tajikistani negotiations were held in both restricted and expanded formats. Vladimir Putin and Emomali Rahmon signed a package of documents and made statements to the press.

On October 9, Vladimir Putin participated in the second Russia – Central Asia Summit, and on October 10, he attended the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

On the sidelines of the summits, the President of Russia held separate bilateral meetings with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

Concluding his visit to Tajikistan, Vladimir Putin responded to questions from journalists.

Trip to Perm

Vladimir Putin visited the Motovilikha Plants defence enterprise where he viewed a display of promising weaponry and military equipment and familiarised himself with plans to build a new plant – UEC-Perm Engines. The President also talked to the enterprise’s workers and congratulated them on a professional holiday, the Gunsmith Day.

Following that, the President chaired a meeting of the Military Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation.

To conclude his working trip to the Perm Territory, Vladimir Putin had a meeting with the territory’s Governor Dmitry Makhonin.

Trip to the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The Zapad-2025 exercise

Vladimir Putin made a visit to the Mulino training ground to observe the active phase of the Zapad 2025 joint strategic exercise.

The President of Russia had a conversation with representatives of foreign states invited to observe the exercise and inspected weapons and military and special equipment used in the practical actions of troops.

Trip to Samara

Trip to the Primorye Territory and the 2025 Eastern Economic Forum

On September 4, Vladimir Putin visited the Primorye Territory branch of the Russia National Centre, where he toured, in particular, the interactive zone dedicated to the 155th Separate Guards Kursk Orders of Zhukov and Suvorov Marine Brigade named after twice Hero of Russia Major General Mikhail Gudkov. The President also met with the cadets of the Voin Centre for Military Sports Training and Patriotic Education.

At the Russia National Centre branch, Vladimir Putin reviewed the results of the Far Eastern region’s development and launched, via videoconference, several new enterprises and infrastructure facilities in the region.

Vladimir Putin also held a meeting on the development of the fuel and energy sector in the Far Eastern Federal District.

On the same day, the President met with Prime Minister of Laos Sonexay Siphandone, Prime Minister of Mongolia Gombojav Zandanshatar and Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of China Li Hongzhong on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum.

On September 5, Vladimir Putin took part in the plenary session of the 10^th Eastern Economic Forum.

The President also held working meetings with Governor of the Primorye Territory Oleg Kozhemyako and Governor of Kamchatka Territory Vladimir Solodov.

Official visit to China. The SCO summit and military parade to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of WWII

At the invitation of President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping, the President of Russia made a four-day official visit to China.

On August 31 and September 1, Vladimir Putin took part in a meeting of the SCO Heads of State Council and a meeting in the SCO Plus format in Tianjin. The President also held meetings with Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, President of Turkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister of Vietnam Pham Minh Chinh, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian, and Prime Minister of Nepal Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli.

On September 2, Russian-Chinese talks took place in Beijing. Vladimir Putin met with President of China Xi Jinping and President of Mongolia Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh and also held bilateral consultations with Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico, Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif, President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.

On September 3, the President of Russia attended a military parade marking the 80^th anniversary of the end of World War II on Tiananmen Square in Beijing, and later a gala reception in the Great Hall of the People. There, the President briefly spoke with Soviet military commanders’ relatives who attended the parade: descendants of Marshals Zhukov, Rokossovsky, Vasilevsky, and Chuikov.

This was followed by separate meetings with Chairman of State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea Kim Jong-un, President of the Republic of the Congo Denis Sassou Nguesso, and President of Vietnam Luong Cuong.

In conclusion of his official visit to China, Vladimir Putin answered questions from journalists of the Kremlin pool.

Trip to Sarov

Vladimir Putin visited the Russian Federal Nuclear Centre – National Research Institute of Experimental Physics located in the city of Sarov, Nizhny Novgorod Region.

The President visited an exhibition of research and education infrastructure in the cities of special significance and met with young nuclear industry professionals. Also during the meeting, the institute’s staff was awarded the Order for Valiant Labour.

The President also laid flowers at the monument to scientist and one of the creators of the Soviet nuclear project Yuly Khariton.

At the end of his trip, Vladimir Putin had a working meeting with Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Gleb Nikitin.

Working visit to the United States

In Alaska, Vladimir Putin held talks with President of the United States Donald Trump, followed by a joint news conference.

To conclude his visit to the US, the President of Russia laid flowers at the graves of the Soviet servicemen buried at Fort Richardson National Cemetery.

Trip to Magadan

In Magadan, Vladimir Putin examined the production processes at the Omega-Sea plant and inspected the grounds of the Presidential Universal Sports and Health Complex, where he briefly talked with young hockey players.

The President also held a meeting on the implementation of a master plan for the development of the city of Magadan and met with Governor of the Magadan Region Sergei Nosov.

In conclusion of his working trip, the President laid flowers at the Heroes of ALSIB memorial.

Trip to St Petersburg

On Navy Day, Vladimir Putin visited St Petersburg and observed the July Storm strategic exercise via linkup from the Main Admiralty.

Following the event, the President spoke with city residents and visitors on Palace Square.

The President then visited the lecture and laboratory building, the research and production facility, and the martial arts centre at St Petersburg State Marine Technical University.

That same day, also during his trip to the Northwestern Federal District, Vladimir Putin visited the St Nicholas Naval Cathedral and boarded the frigate Admiral Grigorovich in Kronstadt.

Trip to the Arkhangelsk Region

In Severodvinsk, Vladimir Putin participated in the flag-raising ceremony on the nuclear cruiser Knyaz Pozharsky and held a meeting on the development strategy of the submarine forces of the Russian Navy.

Additionally, he met with Board Chairman of the United Shipbuilding Corporation (USC), VTB Bank head Andrei Kostin, and USC CEO Andrei Puchkov.

Trip to the Chelyabinsk Region

Ahead of Metallurgist Day, Vladimir Putin visited Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, where he inspected the new coke battery complex and the machine-building production workshop. The President also briefly spoke with workers of the enterprise.

A meeting took place between Vladimir Putin and Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region Alexei Teksler on MMK’s grounds.

Additionally, the head of state participated, via video conference, in the opening ceremony of the Dyurtyuli–Achit section of the M12 Vostok motorway.

Concluding his working trip, Vladimir Putin visited Magnitogorsk’s year-round urban resort Prityazhenie (Attraction).

Working visit to Belarus. Meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council

In Minsk, Vladimir Putin addressed the Eurasian Economic Forum plenary session titled Strategy of Eurasian Economic Integration: Results and Prospects. Following the session, the heads of delegation visited an exhibition of automobiles manufactured in Belarus.

The following day, the President took part in a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council during which participants approved a series of documents.

The President also had separate meetings with Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, as well as with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Trip to St Petersburg. SPIEF-2025

During his three-day trip to St Petersburg, the President attended the St Petersburg International Economic Forum.

On June 18, Vladimir Putin chaired a meeting on economic issues at the Constantine Palace in Strelna. After that, he met with President of the New Development Bank Dilma Rousseff and visited the renovated historical building of the Rimsky-Korsakov St Petersburg State Conservatory. Later in the evening the President held a meeting with heads of international news agencies.

On June 19, the head of state met with President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto, who is in Russia on an official visit. Additionaly, Vladimir Putin held a meeting with Deputy President of the Republic of South Africa Paul Mashatile.

On June 19, the President held a conversation with National Security Adviser, Commander of the Royal Guard of the Kingdom of Bahrain Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and took part in plenary session of St Petersburg International Economic Forum. In addition, separate meetings were held with member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CCP Central Committee, Vice Premier of the China’s State Council Ding Xuexiang and OPEC Secretary General Haitham Al Ghais.

Trip to the Kursk Region

While in Kurchatov, Vladimir Putin chaired a meeting with the heads of municipal governments of the Kursk Region and visited the construction site of the Kursk-2 Nuclear Power Plant.
