President Medvedev instructed Prime Minister Putin to report within two weeks on the causes of the accident at the Sayano-Shushenskaya Hydroelectric Station, and to take measures to eliminate its consequences, ensure uninterrupted power supply to industries, social facilities, the population, and take the necessary decisions to compensate families affected by the accident and to prevent the rise of electricity prices for consumers.
