The Federal Law aims to ensure that persons granted the citizenship of the Russian Federation perform their constitutional duty to defend the Fatherland.
The Federal Law entrusts the internal affairs bodies with responsibility to submit in digital format, using a unified inter-agency digital interaction system, including to the public information resource, data on males, whom it has been decided to admit to the citizenship of the Russian Federation and who are due to take the Oath of the Citizen of the Russian Federation.
A citizen’s failure to report for initial military registration shall constitute grounds for terminating their citizenship of the Russian Federation.
