In light of the enormous significance of Catherine the Great’s reforms for Russian history and to commemorate the 300th anniversary of the Empress’s birth in 2029, the President has accepted the proposal from the Government of the Russian Federation on celebrating Catherine the Great’s 300th birth anniversary in 2029.
The Government has received corresponding instructions.
