“The festival, held in the ancient and beautiful Belarusian city, makes a significant contribution to strengthening the spiritual ties between fraternal Slavic peoples and developing constructive cultural cooperation. Its motto – Through Art to Peace and Mutual Understanding – carries particular relevance in today’s complex international circumstances.
This year’s Slavyansky Bazar programme is exceptionally rich and diverse. Several festival venues will host performances by renowned singers, artists, musical, folk and pop ensembles, alongside numerous theatrical productions, exhibitions and presentations. Particular attention is devoted to children’s audiences, with various creative competitions planned for young performers.
A special place in the programme is reserved for events commemorating the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War – the pivotal chapter of our shared history. I am confident that the great power of art will help preserve the grateful memory of the heroic deeds of our fathers and grandfathers, who fought shoulder to shoulder against the Nazi invaders, and will pass down to younger generations their enduring legacy of fraternal friendship and mutual support.
