The amended pieces of legislation include federal laws On Weapons, On the Legal Status of Foreign Nationals in the Russian Federation, Registration of Foreign Migrants and Stateless Persons in the Russian Federation, and Vehicle Inspection and Amending Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation. In particular, these amendments introduce higher duties when undertaking legal acts related to the registration of foreign nationals and stateless persons.
In addition, the federal law amends Federal Law On Amending Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation and Providing for the Introduction of Additional Registration Mechanisms for Foreign Nationals as Part of a Pilot Project.
