Amendments to the Federal Law On Procedures for Foreign Investment in Business Entities of Strategic Importance for National Defence and State Security aim to exclude the possibility of non-compliance with the requirements of the aforementioned Federal Law by foreign investors by temporarily transferring the right to dispose of voting shares or stakes in a business entity of strategic importance for national defence and state security.
It also clarifies the provisions defining the attributes of control over such a business entity and the provisions on transactions subject to prior approval.
