The Yuzhnouralsky Transport and Logistics Complex, which was designed and built by companies from Russia’s Chelyabinsk Region and China’s Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous District, with active support from the SCO, is a vivid illustration of the effective interregional cooperation that we are developing within this multilateral organisation.
Launching this major infrastructure complex marks an important stage in improving transport links in the SCO area. I am sure that the experience gained during the complex’s construction and operation will be used to further develop productive cooperation between the SCO countries’ regions and business communities.”
