This Federal Law suspends administrative fees when applying for Russian citizenship for people who permanently reside in certain districts of Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine. It includes those who submitted applications for Russian citizenship in the simplified procedure under the Russian President’s Executive Order of April 24, 2019 No. 183 On Determining Categories of People who Have the Right to Request Citizenship of the Russian Federation under a Simplified Procedure.
