The Federal Law invests the Government of the Russian Federation with the authority to approve the lists of controlled goods and technologies which have been approved by the President of the Russian Federation.
The Federal Law also specifies the validity timeframe of the lists of controlled goods and technologies approved by the President of the Russian Federation until the respective authority is passed on to the Government of the Russian Federation, as well the procedure for the coming into force of Government resolutions approving the above lists, which will be released after the Federal Law comes into force.
In addition, the Federal Law specifies Article 25 of the Federal Law On Export Control regarding bans and restrictions on foreign economic activity so as to bring it into compliance with the Federal Law On Special Economic Measures and Enforcement Measures.
