In the village of Akhmat-Yurt, Kurchaloyevsky District,
Chechnya, Vladimir Putin, accompanied by Ramzan Kadyrov, laid flowers at the tomb of Akhmat Kadyrov, the first president of the Chechen Republic.
The President visited the Russian University of Special
Forces in Gudermes, where he toured the training facility, watched the training, and briefly talked to commanders of special units, instructors and volunteers being trained there.
In Grozny, Vladimir Putin toured the new mosque
named after the Prophet Isa and met with Head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan
Kadyrov.
