Born April 9, 1938, in the village of Cherny Otrog, Saraktash district of the Orenburg Region.
1966
Graduated from the Kuibyshev Polytechnical Institute in 1966 and in 1972 completed further studies at the All-Russia Polytechnical Institute by Correspondence. PhD in Technical Sciences.

He started his working career in 1957 as a mechanic at Orsk oil refinery.
1957-1960
In 1957-1960 he served in the Soviet Army.
1967-1973
In 1967-1973 worked as instructor, deputy head and head of the department at the CPSU Orsk City Committee.
1973-1978
In 1973-1978 worked as deputy chief engineer, director of Orenburg gas processing plant.

In 1978-1982 he worked in the heavy industry arm of the COPSU Central Committee.

In 1982-1985 worked as deputy minister of the Soviet Ministry of Gas Industry, concurrently from 1983 he was the head of TyumenGazprom.

Died on November 3, 2010.
