The President said, in particular, in his message:
“Around 1,000 participants representing the non-resource sector of the economy will discuss a range of relevant issues at this year’s forum, including improving the investment climate in the regions and getting rid of excessive red tape. You will place particular emphasis on implementation of the programme, National Business Initiative.
The forum has gained an important role as an influential discussion platform for dialogue between the authorities and the business and expert communities. Only through joint efforts between the state authorities and the business community can we effectively modernise Russia’s economy and make it more competitive on the global market.
I hope that the forum’s recommendations and initiatives will be useful in resolving our priority tasks.”
