The federal law was passed by the State Duma on July 10, 2012 and approved by the Council of Federation on July 18, 2012.
The federal law provides for the ratification of the Protocol on the Accession of the Russian Federation to the Marrakesh Agreement Establishing the World Trade Organisation of April 15, 1994, that was signed in Geneva on December 16, 2011.
The protocol sets out the terms and conditions of the Russian Federation’s WTO membership.
