Mr Kasyanov told Mr Putin about the outcome of his talks with the Belarusian Prime Minister on cooperation in the gas sector. The Belarusian authorities assured the Russian negotiators that a law lifting the restrictions on the privatisation of Beltransgaz would be passed as soon as possible.
