Discussions looked at the prospects for bilateral cooperation. The two sides talked about carrying out a number of major projects and discussed scientific-technical and military-technical cooperation.
The Russian-Indian talks resulted in the signature of a Declaration on Global Challenges and Threats to International Security and Stability that sets out the main areas for cooperation between Russia and India on the international stage in the twenty first century.
Mr Putin noted that the talks confirmed the trust inherent in the two country’s dialogue and the uniqueness and diversity of Russian-Indian strategic cooperation.
