There are many ways to make this industry profitable: long-term lease, concessions and other forms of management. In countries with a developed market economy, the forest problem is solved by using a mixture of different mechanisms, President Vladimir Putin said.
Drastic steps should not be taken in the area of forest management, the President stressed.
The President called on the Government and State Duma to pay close attention to this issue: ”There should not be any delays, but there should not be any fuss either,“ he said.
