Meeting with High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy of the EU Javier Solana, President Vladimir Putin noted the consistent development of relations between Russia and the European Union.
The work on creating the four common spaces in the areas of the economy, justice, external security and science is helping the two sides to establish a lot more common ground.
The final documents are due to be signed this May during the Russia-EU summit in Moscow.
