The celebrations were attended by heads and members of government from more than 20 countries, members of government and parliamentary deputies from Tatarstan, representatives from Kazan's administration and clergy, and from the Republic's cultural and scientific communities.
Following the gala concert, the President of Russia hosted a ceremonial reception in honour of the event's visitors.
