The meeting discussed proposals for developing the oil sector and also examined the socio-economic situation for the last quarter of 2005 and additional measures to combat inflation.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov, First Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Zhukov, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Sergei Sobyanin, the government ministers responsible for economic matters, Chairman of the Central Bank Sergei Ignatyev and President of Transneft Company Semyon Vainshtok.
