At the first conference of the Association of Russian Lawyers, Vladimir Putin said that an organization has appeared able to adopt a united position on key issues of social development, to promote a rule of law state and to develop the best national traditions of jurisprudence.
The President noted that the Association can play an important role in improving legislation and law enforcement activities and guaranteeing common standards for the legal protection of all citizens on Russian territory.
The Association of Russian Lawyers is composed of regional and federal lawyers’ unions.
Some of the Association’s priorities are as follows: providing legal support to priority national projects and developing main social acts together with the Russian Public Council.
