The telegram reads:
”Please accept my sincere condolences and those of the Russian people for the railway accident that took place in Montenegro. The tragedy claimed dozens of victims and among them a number of children, a most terrible thing.
We grieve together with the peoples of Serbia and Montenegro in this trying time. I ask that you transmit my sincere sympathy and support to the relatives and loved ones of the victims and injured“.
