Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin reported on work to prepare the three-year budget and on the results of the initial public offer carried out by Vneshtorgbank.
Healthcare and Social Development Minister Mikhail Zurabov told the meeting that the fall in the death rate that began last year has continued in the first quarter of 2007. The death rate dropped by 9.1 percent over the first quarter of 2007 compared to the level in 2006.
