The President began his inspection at the preparation complex, where the spacecraft will be assembled and tested. Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin and Head of the Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) Oleg Ostapenko briefed the President on the course of construction.
Vladimir Putin also met with the students who took part in construction in July and August as members of student construction teams. In the course of the conversation, the President stressed that the Vostochny Space Launch Centre will make it possible to implement the all elements of the space programme.
