Speaking as a member of the actor’s audience, the President congratulated Mr Zeldin, who he said has played such a wealth of stage and screen roles that every generation has among them their own favourite and closest characters.
Mr Medvedev announced his decision to award Mr Zeldin the Order for Services to the Fatherland, II degree.
