“Established in 1992, the Academy united talented scientists, architects, urban planners, designers around its tasks and objectives, becoming the key research and creative centre for the national construction industry.
It is pleasant to know that over this time, members of the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences have made a significant contribution to the improvement of such important activities as expertise and scientific support for construction of most complex and unique systems, buildings and structures in different regions of the country; they have done a lot to introduce advanced technology and the latest achievements of engineering science and technical ideas into the industry, shaping the modern look of Russian cities and developing legislation on construction. And, of course, I would like to highlight your sincere concern for the preservation and continuation of the best traditions of the national architectural and construction school.”
