“You can be rightfully proud of the history of the Institute and the rich creative and ideological legacy of your predecessors – outstanding scholars, true classics of national jurisprudence.
It is gratifying that the Institute’s current team is carefully preserving and fostering wonderful traditions of selfless devotion to the chosen cause, tirelessly expanding the range of topics under study and promoting international cooperation. Your fundamental works, fruitful expert and advisory efforts are not only of great scientific value but are also essential to providing regulatory support for the activities of the supreme government bodies. I would like to highlight the contribution of the Institute's staff, especially academician Taliya Khabriyeva and professors Yury Tikhomirov and Valery Lazarev, in drafting the recent amendments to the Russian Constitution.
I am sure that in the future you will continue to deal with demanding challenges facing the Institute and help improve the law-making process in the country.”
