It is gratifying that the coaches of our heroes, who made a major contribution to their sporting victories and triumphs, will also receive these prestigious awards today.
I am confident that these athletes’ and their coaches’ hard work and dedication will serve as a worthy and inspiring example for your comrades, helping them believe in themselves and realise their talents.”
