Visit to Ukraine

Vladimir Putin made a two-day visit to Ukraine. In Kiev, the President took part in events celebrating the 1025th anniversary of the baptism of Rus, presented Russian state decorations to members of the clergy of the Moscow Patriarchate Ukrainian Orthodox Church, and met with President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych. In Sevastopol, Mr Putin attended the consecration of a bell at St Vladimir's Cathedral and took part in celebrations of Russian Navy Day and Ukrainian Navy Day.
