Trip to Altai Republic
Vladimir Putin held a meeting on the disaster relief efforts following the spring floods in some of Russia’s regions. The President also took part via videoconference in the inauguration of the Kosh-Agach solar power station and heard a report from [Rosneft CEO] Igor Sechin on the launch of operations at the new Northern Chaivo field on Sakhalin. Mr Putin also had working meetings with Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov and with the regional heads of Altai Republic and Altai Territory.
