While on a state visit to the Republic of Turkey, Vladimir Putin met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The Russia President also laid a wreath at the tomb of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk to honour the memory of the Turkish Republic’s first president. Vladimir Putin and President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan took part in the fifth meeting of the High-Level Russian-Turkish Cooperation Council (HLCC). Following the meeting, the two presidents witnessed the signing of a package of cooperation agreements. After the HLCC meeting, Vladimir Putin met with Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu.
