Trip to Novgorod Region
Vladimir Putin took part in the plenary meeting of the Memory Watch commemorative national event in Staraya Russa and met with Great Patriotic War veterans and members of search organisations. The President also visited an exhibition of projects by the Russian Search Movement and laid flowers at a monument to Soviet soldiers in the village of Marfino. In addition, Mr Putin had a working meeting with Governor of Novgorod Region Sergei Mitin.
